WELCOME to my visual art site. My work is distinguished by my efforts to paint in watercolor (mostly) in a loose and abstracted manner of still life and landscape subject matter- local and far-flung locations along with work without a subject. I consider myself to be a tonalist painter; I frequently paint what I’m feeling and that evokes a mood by way of color, shape, texture and space.

I prefer to abstract images - gives the obvious reality an added dimension, more possibilities for the viewer to imagine and appreciate.
